From our home in Almost Heaven, West Virginia, let us first say hello and thank you for choosing Tastes Like Heaven. We started our business in 2023 initially as a way to help provide flexibility and income whilst finishing school but since then it has grown and evolved.
Although our business continues to grow, for which we are thankful to God and each of you for helping us succeed, it has never been our goal to just make another dollar. Of course we have bills to pay and aspirations of our own that we hope to fulfill, but we never wanted Tastes Like Heaven to be a faceless money making machine.
If you don't know already, our tagline is "Making Life Sweeter For Everyone"... this is our mission. We imagine a world that feels more like heaven for everyone and we believe the best way to create this world is to build it together. Is this a lofty mission and vision? Of course it is.
So where do we start? Right here in our home state of West Virginia.
You've maybe seen us at events and festivals spinning up our gourmet cotton candy, or seen our product in select local retailers. Hopefully you've had the opportunity to enjoy our product and meet us... if not we hope you do soon.
So what are we doing to help make life sweeter for everyone? We recently started our "Sweetest People We Know" campaign, where we are encouraging people to nominate the sweetest people they know. In a world saturated with negative news and content, we feel it is especially important to highlight, recognize and reward the sweetest people and the sweet things they are doing. Each month we choose one, or more, nominees to receive a free gift of our cotton candy. You can nominate someone by visiting our homepage... it's at the very top you can't miss it!
We are also creating content such as videos, articles and downloads that uplift, encourage and inspire. Again, we want to be a force for good in our world.
When we attend events, or cater events we hand out cards for people to write sweet messages on and nominate the sweetest people they know. And we are always thinking of new ways to make life sweeter.
We also have priced our products and services in a manner that we think makes it easier for people to enjoy a sweet treat. We also offer organizations three of the sweetest fundraising options. Like we said before, we will need to build this more heavenly world together, that's why we help organizations raise the funds they need to continue making life sweeter for the people they serve.
Now none of this may sound big, but often the greatest outcomes in life are not achieved by doing big things, rather by doing the small and simple things consistently. We are still a small business, but as we continue to grow we will continue to evolve and expand how we make life sweeter for everyone.
